Overview
At ViWear, a virtual try-on and digital wardrobe platform, most users only opened the app while shopping and rarely returned after purchase. User interviews surfaced two issues: people struggled to organize the clothes they already owned, and the wardrobe management feature wasn't discoverable enough for them to find or understand it.
Solution
I led the development of AI Wardrobe Intelligence, letting users digitize their wardrobe by photo and plan outfits directly alongside their calendar, turning the app from a shopping-only tool into a daily wardrobe companion.
Why
It gave users a reason to open the app every day, not just when buying something, addressing a real pain point, increasing everyday product value, and encouraging more thoughtful, sustainable fashion choices.
